Megan Thee Stallion’s New Metallic Red Manicure Is the Perfect Holiday Nail Look — See the Photos

It’s been one helluva week due to the ongoing election, that’s for sure — and yet, it hasn’t stopped Megan Thee Stallion from staying on top of her manicure game. Case in point: The “Don’t Stop” singer debuted a brand-new, metallic red nail look on Friday evening, and well, it practically screams, “I’m ready for the holidays.”

The 25-year-old rapper shared two epic snapshots of the nail look on her Instagram grid, along with the caption: “New $et 🔥.” In the photo, her shiny scarlet digits are on full display, and you can see that she went for a lipstick-shaped style, which is a look that’s been trending for basically all of 2020.

As per usual, Meg opted for ultra-long nails because she’s all about the glamour when it comes to her manicures — and just about everything else, too.

Unfortunately, Meg didn’t reveal who’s responsible for her new manicure, though it’s likely that her go-to nail artist Coca Michelle had something to with it. For those who don’t know, Michelle worked with the rapper for Cardi B’s “WAP” music video, and also did her nails for her stunning Rolling Stone cover from February.

Now, if you’re looking to recreate this look at home this holiday season, you can of course do it on your own natural nails (it’ll work whether they’re short or long), or you can try acrylics (like these) for a more dramatic feel. For the color itself, we recommend trying polishes like OPI’s An Affair in Red Square or Sally Hansen’s Miracle Gel in Off with Her Red, as they’re both mirror-like metallics and gorgeous shades of red.

Cheers to the rapper for hitting us with some much-needed holiday nail inspiration. We’re off to copy this look, stat.
